THE BRIEF

DC Shoes is inviting artists, designers and creators around the world to custom design a pair of the new DC Trase shoe.

Use the template provided to design your DC Trase and you could win $10,000 and have your winning design produced and sold at dcshoes.com and select DC Shoes retailers.

In addition to one overall winner, DC will have the option to select one or more additional winners, whose designs may be put into production. These selected artists, along with the artist with the largest amount of support from the community, will receive $2,500.

HOW DC SHOES WILL CHOOSE

DC Shoes, along with their panel of guest judges, will select from all qualified submissions. A qualified submission is one which meets all the Terms & Conditions, Guidelines and Official Rules.

The community can support their favorite submissions through social voting via Facebook and Twitter. The artist with the largest public support will be chosen as the Community Choice.

Should there be more than one design they would like to use, in addition to one Overall winner and the Community Choice winner, DC Shoes will have the option to select one or more additional winners, who will receive $2,500 per design.

CREATIVE INVITE GUIDELINES

• This opportunity is open to global particpants, subject to the limitations described in the Official Rules.
• Participants MUST USE one of the provided templates to create their Trase shoe design.
• Artists must submit their artwork within the provided template.
• Artists should retain their original artwork files (in 300dpi) but template designs must be submitted in JPEG or PNG, max. size 5MB.
• All entries must be original artwork (meaning not using third party pre-existing copyright materials) and must comply with the other requirements detailed in the Official Rules.
• The selected submission may be modified to accommodate production requirements.
• No purchase necessary to enter.
• Artists must join Talenthouse using an active email address in order to ensure they can be contacted should they be selected.
• DC may use the work of the selected artist as set out within the Official Rules. DC may use all submitted works in context of this Creative Invite. All artists retain ownership of their work unless they are selected as winners and accept their prize.
• Artists must include a description about their submission and about themselves.
• Artists must have an up-to-date Talenthouse profile.
• Selected Artists must respond to Talenthouse within 7 days of receiving the notification email or else all prizes will be forfeited and DC may select an alternate winner.
• All submissions will feature as part of a global gallery with public voting on Facebook and Twitter.
• Talenthouse reserves the right to disqualify artists who we believe are cheating the voting system as this is against the spirit of the Creative Invite.

Pertama kali aku ingin mengucapkan syabas dan tahniah buat Tok Ketua walaupun ianya lambat tapi aku rasa tadak hal le tu. Dengan sekali lafaz sahaja dah sah Tok Ketua menjawat jawatan satu lagi iaitu Suami. Yeaaahhh, acapkali kedengaran daripada pelbagai pihak namun Tok Ketua mampu menjalankan tugas nye itu. Bukan senang nak sandang pelbagai jawatan dalam satu masa. Tok Ketua bukan sahaja suami pada masa ini malahan seorang designer, seorang artis, seorang pelawak dan pelakon kelas atasan, dan juga model sambilan Topman. Bukan senang nak jadi senang wooo, susah woooo.

Oh ye harini aku nak hapdet sket lah apa yang berlaku pada minggu ni dan lepas. Seperti biasa aku buat keje walaupun skang ni tak byk keje dan mungkin tadak keje langsung, alhamdulillah time2 ni lah aku nak rilex sket pastu pikir camne nak dapat duit lebih2 nih. Ermm korang tadak ke lubang2 ke apa ke untuk aku buat freelance? aku skang ni fotografi aku bley buat tapi kena ada sponspor lah beli DSLR utk diriku ini hehehehehee. Mintak maap chapit aku tak dapat hadir bersama mmuuuuuuu pada waktu perkahwinan mung, kalo aku ada insyaAllah aku amik kaw2 nye photo pastu aku tepek kat Flickr dan juga Fotopages 360 itew. Aku wat kaw2 nye Black & White paling busuk pun aku buat stailo Orton Effek tu je haaaa gitew.

Oh ye ermm skang ni Bandar Palma tak tentu lah cuaca diye, sket2 panas dering sket2 hujang, pastu kilat pastu ceroh pastu hujang balik. Nescaya sesiapa yang tidak biasa dengan cuaca skang ni, insyaAllah bley demam nye kecuali rakyat di Bandar Palma sahaje. Aku pun skang ni kena kuat minum ayer kuat2 kira kasi tekak di telan bendalir jangan kering sudah lah punya teori kan? ermmm tu pun dah bergelen aku sambung dan telan kat rumoh plok. Uiiiih masyuk tul aku minum air. Harap2 bila dah tengkujuh ni haa, janganlah ada banjir plok. Sebab kadang2 lebat gok hujang sini. Nak cilok2 naik ego pong susoh gok, nak wak guane doh mmg gitu doh aduuuuhh. Tengok tadi masa balik dari ofis nak ke Mesjid Bukit Sekilau kemain lagi basoh diye, tapi kat ofis molek je sayup je turun. Walhal kat bandar kemain lagi keturunan diye, ermm sungguh tak paham bakpe kapan jadi gitu?

Oklah nak main game plok nak release stress yang masih wujud masa dulu2 tu, bila lagi kan nak main game? hehehehehee. Tata seme and luv much from Bandar Palma to youuuuu mmmuuaaahhh.

The Ungka berSeries : Haaa kena bowat ni kew ? adeeeehhh

Harini penuh dengan kekonpiusan bowat diriku, ermmm citer nye beginih pada pagi yang sejuk serta suam2 itew permulaan kerja amatlah tidak sedap di sebabkan terpaksa bangun pagi untuk membowat keje2 tapi takpe sebab memang manusia kena keje kalo tak musti aku ni anak kerabat raja Sultan Sir Hassanal Bolkiah ataupun anak angkat Bill Gates. Tapi tak mengapa itew mustahil wahahahahaha..ermmm camne nak start citer ni ek? ermm kira pagi ni macam biasa lah buka PC pastu memulakan kerja @ dalam erti kata yang lain menyambung keje hari semalam. Hari semalam nye keje adalah membowat "mock up" untuk client CarCare Home Centre yang ingin menukar imej website nye menjadi lebih lawa. Untuk itew aku telah membowat satu je mokap pada harini tu pun kena kacau dengan keje2 yang tak berpaedah aku bowat lepas lunch, kira selepas habes bowat mokap tu le.

Lepas lunch je, cik akauntan merangkap personal assistant bos ungka telahpun menyerahkan satu lagi kerje @ tugasan iaitu membowat kad perniagaan eh kad bisnes. Telah di explainkan semalam oleh ketua ungka di mana proses ini adalah di peringkat awal atau ekperimental. Aku tak pasti lah samada diorang bley untung atau tak? dengan modal yang banyak tetapi harga pasaran ciput macam mana diorang bley untung ek? membazir tangan aku je design kad2 itew. Dahlah petang tadi sebelum nak balik dia kabor kad tu salah orang nye name adeeeehhh, naseb baek lah ko sound aku masa nak balik klo awal2 aku rasa aku bowat bodow je kot? wahahahahaha tu pun dah bowat bodow pon.

Ermmm malas nak layan orang tak pandai mengolah dan tak pandai nak manage sorang designer ni, aku sorang kat ofis pun tak tau nak manage? adeeeehh pe daa? tu blom lagi aku di naikkan pangkat sebagai art director for sure nye anak2 buah designer aku kena sound dgn aku pastu wahahahahaa. Tapi takpe aku bukan nak marah ke hape cuma menjadi kebengonagan akibat pemproses itew sebenarnye membazirkan tenaga dan masa ku sebagai seorang designer. Walhal buat kad tu bukanlah makan banyak masa pong tapi feedback yang aku dapat bapoklah slow.

Haiiihhh ketensenan lah diriku bulan ni lagi, ermmm design mokap plok nak esok adeh naseb baek dah siap satu klo tak bowat apa2 pun tadi asyik bowat kad je kompem dok siap mokap website tu. Ermmm takpelah kita chill2 malam ini, oklah nak mengeluarkan diri ke luar bandar papai seme.
