Over ten thousand Hotmail account details have been published online.

Earlier today, Microsoft announced that it's currently looking into a possible phishing scheme that has exposed the passwords of "thousands" of Windows Live Hotmail accounts. Evidence of the hack originally surfaced over on pastebin.com last week (October 1) where the assaulting party posted the account addresses and passwords, most of which resided in Europe.

However, Neowin reports that it caught part of the list before it was removed, saying that more than 10,000 accounts were revealed. Unfortunately, the list only covered the letters A and B, indicating that there were thousands more not yet exposed to inquiring minds. The listed addresses include users with @hotmail.com, @msn.com, and @live.com domains.

"Over the weekend Microsoft learned that several thousand Windows Live Hotmail customers’ credentials were exposed on a third-party site due to a likely phishing scheme," Microsoft said. "Upon learning of the issue, we immediately requested that the credentials be removed and launched an investigation to determine the impact to customers. As part of that investigation, we determined that this was not a breach of internal Microsoft data and initiated our standard process of working to help customers regain control of their accounts."

Microsoft added that Hotmail users should change passwords every 90 days. Administrators should approve and authenticate known users, and those that can show credentials. Users should also keep anti-virus software up to date, Microsoft said.

Walhal aku online hari2 tapi tak pernah pon aku YM dgn seme, oh ye aku harap seme2 geng sihat lah khendaknye. Aku skang neh bz wat freelance sama itu geng2 GezzeG aku tau korang musti kenal dan tak kenal, mana2 yang kenal alhamdulillah lah, mana2 yang tak kenal lagi ermm dia ni official photog (OP) aku masa nikah dlu, klo nak tau hasil dia *bukan gambor aku haaa. Hari Pertama - Sehingga Berlangsungnya Pernikahan

Aahh harini adalah sungguh membosangkan, nak wat guane? aku xdok keje skang neh. Last2 aku layan YM bersama itu facebook. At least kat FB aku bley lah layan petani yang tengah mengusahakan ladang aku tuh, weh 15 hektar tanah aku tu. Naseb baek dia petani yang rajin hehehehehee.  

Harini masuklah hari pertama sebelum hari bernikah, apakah perasaan ku? mak aih berdebor tu mmg tapi hati ku ini semakin lama semakin sayang kat dia ooooohhh sayang kuuuu...*hok lain lu pikirlaaaa.

Pastu harini si dia balik ke kampung untuk mengemas rumah sebelum bermulanya majlis terhebat dirantau Asia ini, yeaaaahh lagipun rumoh dia tadok orang nak mengemas. Sian mak dia huuuuu, tapi takpe di sebabkan aku pon kena ngemas hari Rabu neh ( hari ke - 3 ) yelah haritu aku amek coti2 wahahahahaaa jangan jeleeesss. Pastu persiapan seme masih lagi di peringkat alfa junior, jadi mungkin di temerloh ya para peminat saya akan di siapkan dengan berbekalkan baju melayu berwarna putih untuk dijadikan hiburan eh bukan2 di jadikan panduan. Yelah baju tu untuk akad nikah aku, macam biasalah lah takkan korang tak tawu kot? ke tak tawu sungguh? eh yeke tak tawu neh? ihsk takpe2 nanti aku tunjuk gambor ek.

Lagi satu nape lah panas sangat lah skang neh, nak aku mandi berapa kali sehari? 4 - 5 kali rasenye baru sejuk badan neh. Neh pun kadang2 aku pasang ekon nak chill sket badan aku neh, klo tak; tak segar le jadi ayam lembik wahahahahaaa. At least masuk dlm fridge baru best segar bugar gitu. OKlah ni baru hari pertama, doakan terbaek untuk diri CINCAN!!
